Good Sam didn't raise your interest rate; however, the issuing bank did. Your task is to find out why. You are entitled to one free credit report from each of the three reporting agencies each year. The website is:

Also, if you want or need a new card, Google Credit Cards and you'll find lots of card offers.
Also, if you can, get your credit score to see where you stand. Despite having a high score, CITI raised the rate on our Sears card, which we've had over 50 years, to the over 20% range. We don't use that card anymore.
