First off, replace a blown tire asap. Never run w/o a spare if at all possible.
GSERS tried to help us out a couple weeks back. Blown trailer tire. Had a good spare, but missing a single extension to change it. Plus we are barely off the travel lane with traffic passing at close to 70. After nearly 45 minutes I'm on the phone with GS and the state police arrive. The GS rep was preparing to call the state police for advice on a towing company! So I asked the rep to hold, they did. I discussed with the officer the situation. He had a tow truck there in 20 minutes. GS could only offer 5+ hours. The tow operator explained that many tow companies refuse to contract with services like GSERS because they don't pay enough. GSERS says they are sending a check to cover the cost of the service since it was called in by police. Still waiting for the check though.
So did I mention make sure replace that tire to have a good spare asap?
