You're lucky they even sent a guy out in the first place. It was at your home, and that does not make it an "emergency" road service. The whole thing should have been on your dime. And it sounds like you expected them to install the starter for free? I am not an advocate for GSRA, but this time they did more than what was reasonable. Get your checkbook out and take care of your own repairs.
