Good service. GSRA saved my day

In the middle of the mountains on I-40, just crossed into NC. It's the middle of nowhere.

I shredded a rear tire. The service guy came in about 1 hr, but he was a good 15 miles away. No cost to me. He just changed my spare. The phone service was great.

Then 30 minutes later, the spare lost its tread. It was around 4:15pm. Having no other tire, I had to buy one and have it mounted.

That was expensive (about 3 times the cost of having one installed at a shop), but of course, we were a captive audience.

The phone service was good and I received a call back and another one after the weekend to make sure I made it home OK.

  • Human nature. :) It takes time to find a service center and get them there. That's just a fact of life. More time if it's after hours or stuck in the middle of nowhere. Anyone who gets too upset at roadside for the reasonable time involved is being unfair and taking their frustration out on the service.

    There are exceptions of course. Nothing is perfect.
  • Funny how nobody responds to the "good service" posts:h. Me I've had nothing but good service from GSRA ----------------I like em! Thanks for telling when they do good which is most likely most of the time:R
