We just started our journey with the threee kids and dog. One road and we can't get into the fifth wheel to let the dog out. Called Good Sam and they won't cover it. They say it's because we aren't disabled. They tell us because we can drive the truck to the locksmith. Did I mention my dog is locked in the RV, did I mention my road service was advertised as lock outs. One last thing, Did I mention I changed to Good Sam after having Coach net with no issues.

Either way on how this gets worked out, can I suggest a 5er key on the truck key ring for both of you. Good luck.

How frustrating and potentially dangerous for your dog. To think we just renewed with Good Sam after having Coachnet. Fortunately for us we never had, knocking on wood, a need for service but one would hope the service will be there when you need it.

OPINION:Roadside Assistance is MORE than just roadside assistance - it is PEACE OF MIND!I had GS but started to have worries that "if I needed them , would they help me?". THAT was when I knew it was time to spend my money elsewhere.

All local police near me carry everything they would need to get into a vehicle. Or know of local towing companies that carry the same tools. When asked they will get you into the car. Just don't call 911 call dispatch.

Well it appears after getting into the trailing by our own lock smith and being told the issue was fixed. The lock worked a few times and again we are locked out. We called Good Sam again. They did agree to contact service, but was unable to connect with a service provider in Ohio. They called the police and said We would have to request consideration from Good Sam. This is after waiting for an hour.

You only hear from those that have issues. I've had to call GSRS twice in the past few years, once for a tire problem and the second a lockout in my truck (not pulling an RV at that time). Both times service was immediate and excellent. Gotta give credit where it's due.

Refreshing that at least responsibility is acknowledged and offer to pay the locksmith fees. However, there is way too much of this type of nonservice, contemptuous attitude towards Camping World/Good Sam customers. I avoid doing business with them until they empower their employees to resolve problems not make them.

We have keys. This was a new lock installed prior to our trip. The lock must be defective. We went to a local locksmith who got the lock open and worked graphite into it. It will be replaced when we arrive in beautiful S. Dakota. We are just upset by the lack of peace of mind with Good Sam. It should of been handled better.
