GS Roadside...so far so good

I read a lot of negatives here and most are towards the actual towing company chosen my GS. So I have to wonder if other roadside assistance company's have the same exact problem?

I have a Class B and "grenaded" a RF wheel bearing 2 miles from a campground near Tellico Plains TN. I called GS and they dispatched a hook. The guy arrived in a reasonable time and towed me into town to an auto parts store. The whole incident was painless and cost free to me(except for the part where the bearing case had welded itself to my spindle requiring me to cut it off and replace the whole spindle).

So I give GS Roadside two thumbs up!

I also had a good experience with the vendor they used to pull my truck and trailer out of the mud. I was buried to the axle on the rear of the truck and on both trailer axles. The vendor first sent out a truck that didn't have a long enough cable or weight and power to pull me out, then they called in the big gun, which was a massive wrecker used for getting full concrete trucks pulled out. They used a cable about 1-1/2" thick to pull my truck and trailer about 180'.

I hate to think what that would have cost me.

X2 Have used GS for 25yrs. Can't imagine why any RVer would not have this policy:) I tow or break down has paid your yearly cost.
