GSRA Suggestion
Used GSRA for the first time July 13. Everything worked out as best is could in the end, BUT, maybe Good Sam should consider this idea:
1. Have our RV information in the Good Sam data base. We give it to them when we apply. The call center and the towing company got things mixed up between them and the towing company, tow company thought they were towing a truck with a camper shell. The flatbed tow truck plus my over 12 foot tall camper/truck combo would have been too high to go under over passes, so they had to dispatch a wrecker type tow truck.
True we may not be using the RV and it is one of our other vehicles but this could be part of the training/standard questions to ask "Is it the Lance camper and truck? Or is it one of your other vehicles?"
In the end we did get towed to the nearest reasonable repair place (Dodge Dealer). The tow company people they sent were nice and knew what they were doing.
Not sure where things got mixed up but did get the truck repaired and was able to continue the trip with some delays.
