Why would you replace the tire if the valve stem was at fault? Only time a valve stem pulls in on a flat tire is if it is a tube. There is more to this story for sure. Not to many RVs with tube type tires out there! Maybe the tires were driven flat to the point that they had come off the bead and were ruined. The valve stem would not re inflate if they were off bead. Not a GS member but gotta say it is not their fault, tire service probably told them tires were junk from being run flat. 3 million plus miles of over the road tells me this is probably what happened IMHO
