Issues with national general claims?

Newest info for today. National general is denying the damage claim. The shop called the good Sam extended warranty administrator to reopen the warranty claim and they said the only thing covered is the broken rollers. The labor to pull both slides to get to the rollers is NOT covered.

Daily update talked to national general again today doesn't look good. Talked to good Sam care team and filled them in on what has happened so far. Hopefully it will get sorted out on Wednesday, the memorial day trip is not looking so good right now.

Another update called the extended service plan. Was told they would reopen the claim now that the slide was out and more info was available. All hope is not completely lost!

I replied to the good Sam care team. Hopefully they can get something done.

I'll be watching this as I have a claim in too.

Liberty Mutual was much better to deal with .... excellent customer service,claims reps who actually got back to you and claim resolved within 2 weeks. Only reason I changed company was LM does not insure over $80,000.

I think NGI is the company where the tv ad has husband and wife going back and forth on who should call the insurance company now, as no one ever gets back to them.

I use them and on our broken Swintec slideout we had no issues what so ever in getting things approved; maybe the shop is not writing things up correctly.

I agree that the words "bad faith" are not welcome to Ins. Co's. But, you need to be prepared to prove they acted in "bad faith". Not just your opinion but others such as State Insurance Commissioner or a Judge in case it goes to court. If you claim this and lose, be prepared to come off the hip with "money". Everyone seems to think Ins. Co. have no guidelines and just do as they please. Read your policy very carefully as they will follow it to the letter.
