GS ERS only covers to the nearest repair facility. Do we all wish they tow us where we wanted to go, even if it is an extra 50 miles? I would, but I also know I will have to pay the difference. If I wanted it towed the additional distance it would be between me and the tow company. I used to be a driver for a small tow company. The owner had contracts with just about every company that offered coverage. Most of the contracts stated we would roll a truck within x amount of time, or we would be docked. If it is a holiday the tow company may not have the manpower available to tow an extra distance as they are probably short handed anyway.
