Membership renual

Question

When I renewed my membership there was an incentive to renew for two years at a discount price and a camping world gift certificate. I don't purchase from camping world much as neither store is close, but sometimes on the road you need something.

I just noticed because I did need something on this trip that the certificate expired on 7/7.

Imagine my surprise as I purchased this certificate as part of the renual package so it should not expire.

I know that federal courts have held that they can not expire unless the money is returned

I don't you can get refund for something you got for free, i.e., you did not pay separately for it.But they maybe open for a replacement.

No one said anything about something for free (like a coupon) we are talking about part of the package that was offered as an incentive to purchase the entire package.That has value and was not free.
