The point is that the car cannot be driven. She didn't have a spare, and neither does my motor home. So they will leave the coach on the side of the road because it doesn't carry a spare? Of corse not..
She also made it clear that it is sidewall damage and it cannot be repaired, so it HAS to be towed. What she does once the car is safely at the ONLY place to get the tires:1 or 4 replacements makes no difference to the tow, so what's the nitpicking about? I guarantee that AAA will come get me and tow the car where it needs to go for non-standard tires because I just had mine towed to the dealer after TWO sidewall blowouts, no questions. It's roadside service, plain and simple.
