I had no idea Good Sam had other carriers. I had to file a claim recently for damage to our MH which I believe was caused by vandalism or something but because I did not witness or do not know exactly what happened NGIC automatically files a collision claim. WHAT? I have never heard of this in my life.
My assigned adjuster never called me. I always had to call her. She was to contact within 24-48 hrs - I waited a week. She said I'll call you tomorrow - never happened. No one came out to look at the damage. They had me take pictures and upload them 3 times and that's how they estimated damage. I don't know if I'm too old school; but I really believe that adjuster's should still come out and assess the damages in person. Especially for the prices paid.
One of the biggest disappointments: my adjuster was located in another country. I couldn't figure out why I had such difficulty communicating and why she did not know the details of my policy well. She repeatedly had to either check with her "supervisor" or put me on hold to reread the policy.
If I may also say, I don't like that I cannot make changes to my policy online.
