National General just cancelled my Homeowners Ins.

I feel your pain. State Farm cancelled thousands of policies in south Louisiana after hurricane Katrina. Even though we built our new home on higher ground in a less prone area, they still wouldn't take the risk. I hope you don't find that all major insurers follow suit like what happened to us. We had to go to a state sponsored insurance program where our rates doubled.
