National General Cancellation

Thinking of getting Good Sam Insurance? Read this:

In a conversation around the kitchen table the other day the subject of the renewal of my TT insurance came up. Isn't it time to renew my friend said.

I cant remember I said. Surely they will send us a renewal notice in plenty of time and probably deluge me with e mails....

Well on May 11th I find 3 e mails in my inbox all from National General.
One is a NOTICE OF CANCELLATION effective May 10th at midnight.

The other two are virtually the same email wanting me to review important documents online one of which is a cancellation notice.

So this is the way Good Sam and National General work? Send you a cancellation notice a day AFTER the policy has expired? and NOT A SINGLE CONTACT BY MAIL OR EMAIL asking me to renew prior to that?

Is this what you guys call service?

Considering that you can fill my inbox and mailbox with every conceivable advertisement and come-on for GSE or Campingworld or Roadside Assist or Medical Asssit or on and on and you cant get an e mail out to me for the renewal of my insurance?

Now I admit it is MY responsibility to keep track and do this. No quibbles there. However a simple reminder would have been appreciated.
This is not what I consider to be any kind of acceptable level of customer service.

Since my trailer is in storage I have a few days to look for a company that actually might appreciate the business...or at least pretend to.
