New membership card

I often read here about members having long delays in receiving their new membership card. I wanted to relate my experience which is just the opposite. My membership was renewed through the automatic renewal program on April 24th and I received my new membership card today May 7th. That's only thirteen days. Thanks GoodSam. That's pretty good service in my book.

  • Paid for lifetime on Feb 18th still no cards, but a expiration notice today. Just renewed ERS probably a mistake. Member since 09 so I guess they figure I'm old news.
  • Just recd. mine, was paid 2 mo. ago. I don't think I'll live long enough to pay for life membership but I do know that on the day they send me my card I get a whole pile of mail, unrelated, sent to me. wonder if they sell my name because most of it ocmes from IL.

    Please call into member service and we can reorder cards and send a temp validation via email. Very sorry for the delay in this matter. Thank you for your time and post.

  • Its no big deal, but I'm still waiting. Its been six weeks and over the weekend I received a phone message notifying me it had expired. I called on Monday and was informed of the delay, an apology for any recent calls or mailings notifing me of it expiring, and was told my status is current.

    I wish they would keep all the mail fluff though.
