We are new motor home owners, and just joined Good Same using the "New Member Deal" of $79.95. I'd like to know why my credit card was charged two separate charges of $52.95 and $69.00 for a total of $121.95 instea of $79.95. Nowhere during the enrollment process did I see anything that said, "You will be charged $121.95 instead of $79.95." I am hoping there is a logical and reasonable explanation for this and that the $79.95 thing was not a sham. Although, judging from a couple of other comments that I've read here already, I have my doubts.(By the way, a real e-mail address for Good Sam would be helpful. I sent a message about this through the Good Sam website the day I joined last week and have not received a response yet. I have the feeling GS is very quick to take the $$, but not so much on the caring about the customer side of things. Not a good taste in our mouths thus far.)

Thanks for showing me that, Dutchman. No where during my sign-up process was anything of that nature shown to me. The initial tease to sign-up for $79.95, then at the very end it showed that I was charge $121.95. I'll be interested in the response from the moderator.

I would immediately contact your credit card company and place this charge in a dispute mode until good sam answers or until you cancel for good!!! This is bait and switch.

This seems to be very typical of anything branded Good Sam or Camping World. They are very customer unfriendly. The horror stories and behaviors that can only be interpreted as contempt for their customer are prevalent on this website.

Yep, I bet that's exactly what happened. GS club is indeed just $27, standard ERS is $79.95 with Platinum ERS being $114.95. Not sure how the $121.95 got in there...maybe tax or something.

But obviously the OP is confused on what he actually purchased.

You will NOT get an answer in writing from them on this forum.
You will be invited to give them your phone number in a private email and someone will call you.
So either wait for them to call or call them and be done with it.

@Darsben ... I prefer to get an answer in writing whenever possible so that I have proof. If I don't hear back from GS within a few days I will certainly call, but I have learned from experience to not take verbal responses with more than a grain of salt.
