AAA does not carry a GPS either, neither do the CHP FSP Trucks, so I don't think most tow companies carry one. I know the area on S2, I think it is near Paroli Springs, and that is pretty remote. Most of S2 has no mile markers, I think they were either stolen, or just never placed, so it would not surprise me if he thought he was lost, he probably made a right instead of a left and could not figure it out. I go out there a few times a year, and have never seen a tow truck out there anywhere, so it would not surprise me. I don't carry a GPS with me either.
