I spoke to a customer agent today and was told our premiere package did not cover trailer tow! I refused to accept this answer and asked to speak to a supervisor. He was nice but firm so was I. After putting me on hold for a long time he returned and apologized saying indeed our policy did I cover our Dollie! He apologized profusely.
If Ala. Highway Patrol had no come to our aid I do not what we would have done!
Your dispatch employees need to be familiar with a Dollie Tow! They kept referring to us as a trailer! And said that was why it was not covered! We are canceling our policy and feel blessed to have received help from Hwy. Patrol.
One reason I do not have Good Sam ERS is because they do not tow utility trailers. In this case it appears to be poor communication somewhere.
However, it is inexcusable that the ERS operator wouldn't have acted as a concierge and arranged service for you at your own expense.
If this story is true as stated, shame on you Good Sam!
