You are right, I didn't think about the ramifications of the service people or the company service I had paid to receive. The company had no problems taking my annual dues for 7 previous years!
Guess I made an educated decision to not put my family and the hundreds of other vehicles on the busy freeway whizzing by at risk....I got off the road as soon as possible in the safest available spot.
BTW, Les Schwab had no problems changing the tire, safely. My complaint is with the available ERS service not being available in a major metropolitan city for 2 hours.
