Poor roadside assistance

September 1 southbound on US550 between Cuba and Bernalillo New Mexico. Blowout on the 5th wheel curbside rear axle. Pulled over and parked on the narrow shoulder without drama. Called Good Sam and got an idiot in Atlanta. All she wanted to do was joke and BS. Took forever for her to find us on her map. Finally she said she would contact someone and they would call me. They did and confirmed where we were. Said they didn't know why GS called them, they are 2.5 hours away. I told him to hang on I'll call GS back. Had to tell the new rep the same thing and she said she would try to find someone closer. I called the road service and told them what the GS said. He said he had a couple of friends nearby that would come for $150 cash. No thanks. After all the back and forth on the phone the guy called back and said he was on his way and would be here in an hour. So 2 dirt bags showed up in an old broke down truck with a breakover bar and a couple sockets. No air compressor, no impact. I had already raised the 5th with its leveling jack and used my impact to remove the tire. I lowered the spare tire carrier as well. All they had to do was put the spare on. They did, and had no torque wrench either. I'm about sure that was the 2 "friends".
I'll be shopping for something other than Good Sam soon.
