Problems in Little Rock

I recently needed to have my class B (now sold) towed to a shop from my home. After waiting over an hour for Road Assistance to call back, I called again. I was told they couldn't find anyone in the city to tow a class B. I was told it's a liability thing.

Is this common? I know it's not GS Road Assist fault, but if I can't find a tow in a city the size of Little Rock, how can I expect to find a tow in small towns. If it's a problem with a class B, how could I expect to have a class C or A towed. Maybe it's because Little Rock, and maybe all of AR, is still basically a behind the times hic town.

As you can guess, I'm not a big fan of living in Little Rock.

  • I am not a Good Sam member. but did I understand you waned it towed from your home to a shop. That is not roadside assistance. That is a job for a tow truck(the you pay type). You didn't break down on the road, but just needed to take your RV to the shop for repairs.

Aw c'mon that sounds like pure bull! They got to be able to tow school buses, delivery vans, etc. What happens if there''s an accident? Leave it all in the middle of the road?

Maybe they just forgot to finish the sentence, maybe they should have said: "We can't find anyone who will tow a Class B for what we are willing to pay. "
