Little Rock AR

I'm looking for a quick overnight in the Little Rock area. Any ideas with a quick in and out?
  • X3 or Downtown Riverside. Right across the river from a river front shopping area (name escapes me), and the Clinton library. The bridges across the river provide an interesting light show at night. We just overnighted there last year, but will definitely stay there again when in the area. One piece of advice... If using your Garmin or other GPS device to find the place, make sure you enter "NORTH Little Rock" as the city and not just "Little Rock". We didn't, and ended up towing quite a distance down some 'scenic' back roads until we discovered the error of our ways. :-)
  • Howdy!

X2 Downtown Riverside RV Resot in north Little Rock. It a Pass Port America park but you need to call and make reservation. Right on the river nice, clean, safe place.

X3 - it's a city-owned place that takes reservations and the best part about it is watching boats, kayaks and rowers going by on the river, plus the city lights. It was 110 degrees when we stayed there but we could have the A/C on and watch the world go by out our front windows.

If you use Passport America, be aware those are sites against the back wall, not facing on the river.

  • We've stayed at the COE park - Maumelle - easy on and off the freeway from I-430 Exit 9 (west side of the loop).

Several of our friends who want full hookups for a short stay go to the Downtown Riverside RV Park - right on the river near the I-30 bridge. They choose it for Passport America rates.
