We ended up driving it home veryyyyyyy slowly with the slider out sticking to the back roads. What we agreed to before they came was a 2 hour minimum at $175 per + parts and travel time back. The estimate was about $495. Interestingly enough when they arrived they had us sign a paper agreeing to this as well as one saying we would not do a charge back. I paid with a debit card - lesson learned - so not as easy to cancel as a credit card.
The charges could be right but a little hard to tell without seeing how they billed it. I just can't believe that Road Side can't give me a physical address for a company they are sending out to help their customers.
In hind site yes I should have got more info from they before they left but after a half a day trying to get someone and get it home we were more interested in getting on the road and trying to get it home. Never expected it to become such a big issue.
