Road side assistance

let me enlighten you even further......it doesn't surprise me you were cancelled. I was in the road service industry for 12 years as a provider. many towing and road service companies like me quit or sold out due to motor clubs like Good Sam beating down prices on what they were willing to pay us as contracted providers. They wanted guys to change a tire on a MH for 30 bucks at 3 in the morning. No thanks. Then they started playing around with mileage reimbursements and shorting checks, etc. Now they are scrambling for providers because no one will run their calls anymore, and the ones that do will only do credit card upfront at a much fairer rate (now they actually lose money on some calls), no PO accepted and waiting 30-60 days to get a shorted payment. Good Sam contracts with a broker called Agero, which hold dozens of OEM contracts and provides a call center for road service. Agero used to be known as Cross Country motor club, but just about the time I quit they changed names as they were getting worse with treatment of vendors that provided road service. Sorry for you, but I'm loving it. It's payback now and they are getting what they deserve- motor clubs are a blight on the industry and a middleman that needs to be cut out like a wart. Until this industry is rid of them, expect longer wait times and increasing annual fees as they can only do such to offset their loss of profits.
