If you think that's something, did you know Amazon will cancel your account if you return too many items? No matter what the issue, they keep a tally and will drop you like a hot potato. There is no recourse either. When the person who is dropped tries to contact them, they read some script about your membership wasn't active and hangs up. Been reading about it on another forum.
Lots of shops are doing that now. I believe Walmart is tracking returns as well, and you can get "blacklisted" for too many.
From their perspective, it's just basic business, profit versus loss, and if they want to stay in business, it has to be done when the losses start to overtake the profit.
I think I might have used Good Sam ERS maybe a handful of times in the last decade. Is that normal? I guess I must be on the "profitable" side of the balance sheet, at that rate of usage.
