Well the 1st time we call for roadside assistance guess what they can't help us out , why , it's Sunday , we have a flat and the customer service can't find our location with the automatic location finder , she asked a bunch of questions that I can't find on the tire , then she tells me that she can look it up herself so after I spend 20 minutes in the texas heat looking for the letter she wants me to find (H ) and it's not even on the tire at all . I told her to forget it that I will call the semi truck roadside service that good sam's is worthless to me and I will request a refund ASAP , and guess what the other company came thru for us. Please get phone numbers or business cards from truck stops for your roadside service they are quicker at the service . Never agin will I be a member of good sams roadside assistance .

Where we are in Branson if you put it into the GPS it doesn't come up. The SKP co-op in Hondo, TX wouldn't show up on mapquest. There the house across the street would come up but not the campground. So if you gave someone the address of the campground they couldn't find it. Not their fault it just didn't show up.

Good Sams has never come out to where I called them to fix a flat on my coach. Not in Houston, nor Dallas, TX. They were worthless. Waste of money for their service which was non-existent.

I agree with whistlebritches. I'll also say that posting an issue you had with Roadside Assistance here gets very fast recognition by Frank and the other GS staff. And they work quickly to correct things as necessary. I doubt calling the 800 number would be as effective considering the hit and miss of the hotline staff.

Why are you being so mean to him? He's probably frustrated and I can understand that. When you pay for a service you expect it to be there when you need it. We had a blowout on a Sunday coming through St. Louis and althought it took about 45 minutes, someone came out and put on our spare and led us to a truckstop to air it up, because it was low. Good Sams did come through for us that time. I guess no one is suppose to say anything negative on this forum. I've heard plenty of others griping about different things from poor campgrounds to high fuel prices, etc.

Note to self:

#1: Know where I am when I call. (Road signs, maps, cell phone GPS will be handy for that purpose.)

I do not have room for a spare for my rig, but the tire information is readily available on the sticker that is required by the Fed's. The only reason it would be different is if the OP changed the tire size, or did not know. If it is the later, no ERS would have that info either, most of the time it is dependent on the Rv Manufacturer.

I do keep track of where I am, no reason not to know, and if you do not then you are lost. While the app should give your location, I never depend on any app to tell me where I am, or know where I am.
