I had the misfortune of having to use my Good Sam Road service recently. I was going on a long road trip so I thought the $79.95 was worth the peace of mind.I called the number and spoke to a young lady who was very helpful. She found someone to come and help me, called me back when she said she would and even called back later to make sure someone had come out. I don't feel I could have asked for better service. My only concern is that for the repairs, I paid Good Sam $384. The mechanic got me to sign the invoice and they had charged Good Sam $301. I was surprised that Good Sam was making a profit off of my misfortune. What it boils down to is that in this particular trip, I could have saved $163 by calling someone myself. But still, service was excellent.
