Roadside Service Opinion

Hi All,

Anyone ever use this roadside service from Costco?

Road Companion by USAC/MD Emergency Roadside Assistance

Opinions? Good/Bad?

Rudy
  • It will depend on the independent contractor who is called to provide service. Even if they provide RV coverage (I have no idea) their call center will simply pull up your location and call the nearest service provider (tow truck), if they do not respond (because they really don't have too answer the phone) the next provider will be called. The guy who finally comes out might be great, or might have no idea what he is doing. Or a small tow truck might be sent to pull the 30K# coach. Luck of the draw (JMHO)
  • Towing 'up to 100 miles'.

    Exclusions:
Trucks over one-ton capacity, motorcycles, taxis, vehicles used for commercial purposes, camping or travel trailers, mobile homes or any unit in tow

  • go with coach net ,they,ve help us out a few times with no problem, another one is check your auto insure ,
  • I know you asked for input on one specific company, but if you are interested, we have used Good Sam's roadside assistance for a number of years...always there to answer the phone and have always come through for us...the provider they have sent to our aid has not always been the best, but I think that will be true with all roadside assistance plans.
  • Good Morning RFV,

Glad to hear that you are looking at different roadside services. If you have any specific questions about the Good Sam Roadside Assistance program feel free to ask!

    Thanks,
    Tom
