We go back and forth every year. One year her name,next mine. Can't remember ever paying over $100/month for sat,phone and innerweb.

Lots of companies do this. Cable, satellite tv, phones, Sirius radio, credit cards. This is why many customers do the 1st yr, then cancel.....If they stay alert. When I get the new bill, if it’s a “we gotcha now” rate, I cancel. Look elsewhere. Free market, competition capitalism. =. Choices.

wonder why they charge old customers more than a new one ,is this sucker bait? think they could give customers that had the plan, but did not use it a discount?

May as well ask the renewal rate going in. Many get upset when the price is higher for a repeat customer.
