Some praise.
Today, after we stopped to stretch, my oil pressure dropped to zero right as I was rolling off the ramp onto the interstate.
What the issue was is not the point of this post, but is in another thread about Ft. Myers location Camping World.
I called GSRA. After the few minute navigation, I got through. Through the process, I had to repeatedly clarify my coach type, as a diesel pusher. I had to repeatedly clarify where I was.(I-77, mile Marker 50 just south of I-40 interchange, Statesville, NC).) More or less, he wasn't paying attention. But we made it through.
Tow arrived 35 minutes later!! I nearly died! LOL The tow guy was a nice guy, and after about an hour, had us off the road and on our way to Camping World Statesville. The tow guy actually spotted what our issue was, and walked in with us to speak to the service manager. We got the ball rolling, and was back on the road 3 hours later.
The tow guy showed us the bill (close to $500). I took a look at him over my glasses with raised eyebrow. He said he just wanted to show us what our roadside assistance save us. FOr a six mile tow! Whew!
THAT part of our day was a win!
