Springfield RV & Camping Show

Question

Hi Good Sam,Why do you not have a booth at the Springfield RV &amp; Camping show, in Springfield, MA? They bring in over 34,000 paying guest, run for 3 days and have 3 buildings full of RV's and campgrounds from all over New England. The KOA is there handing out nice bright yellow reusable bags and many KOA affiliated campgrounds are there.One would think that Good Sam would be there promoting themselves along with Camping World and Pilot/Flying J.Hope to see you there next year and many years to come.

GeoBoy; overall how was the shop? i.e. diversity of makes, models, styles, etc? Did they quite a few MH's or just a token showing?  My son lives in Chicopee and we'd thought of visiting him when the show was on. If it's a comprehensive show we might thinks about it next year then.

I don't even think Good Sam goes to the Boston Show.  Camping world is there, though.

Good Sam is a 99.9% volunteer organization. I have worked a RV show booth and have also worked a table at the local Camping World - all for free.

At the RV show, GS paid for the booth but nothing else.

If you want a Good Sam booth at the next RV show, I suggest you contact your state director (also unpaid) and volunteer to sit at the show and answer questions for 12 hours a day.
