My understanding is that they do not air up tires nor repair them. I would imagine a check would go into the repair side. They will change out an inflated spare tire that is already mounted on a wheel. If you have a spare tire and need it mounted on your flat tire spare, then you will be charged for that. I believe the rate isaround $150. If you don't have a spare, they will attempt to find one for you, but you will be charged for it. This is why we purchased our own spare and another wheel. While I spent $350 on it ($200 tire/$150 wheel), I much would rather pay that up front and not have to spend over $200 for a spare tire to include the additional wait time.
As far as the awniing goes..all they would do would be to try to find you a mobile mechanic that you would have to pay out of your pocket. It's just a concierge service. You stated it was getting dark. I would imagine that most RV mobile mechanics probably were not available. Location and other variables could come into play.
