If you do not carry a mounted spare tire....you could be in for trouble. I realize space and cargo compartments are sometimes too small to carry a mounted spare. How about a rim in one area and a spare tire in another. Roadside service can put them together for you...if you make sure the service truck has the proper tire mounting/dismounting equipment and know how.
Our RV did not come with a mounted spare. We managed to cram one partly on a pass-thru shelf and partly on a piece of thick rebar with 2x4 bracing.
I'm too inept to attach this dwg to this post..but if anyone is interested, send me a pm with your fax number....and also, on another forum, someone did get this dwg into a post. Let me know and I will send you more info.
And, yes...Frank is helpful, professional and helped me out two times. He is great !
