I have not found this to be the case for gasoline. If traveling on the interstate and stopping where there is a cluster of stations, FJ is usually priced the same as the competition. To price higher would be sending business eleswhere. However, if I want to exit the highway and travel into town (for example) I might find cheaper fuel. Most often, I elect to stay near the highway..
