Called Good Sam's the other day to get a quote on insurance for our fifth wheel trailer and after talking to an agent for about an hour, he said that he would email me a copy of his quote with the trailer alone and with the truck. Never heard a thing. Other companies responded in as little as two minutes. Guess they are so big they don't need the business....

Jut keep calling until you get the answer you want. Just sayin.

First contact IS what determines whether or not to do business with a company.They need my business not the other way around......I can go elsewhere.So YES that first contact better be on the ball. They are representing the company and judgement will be made on that first impression Bad customer service, lack of follow thru etc and I move on.....done.

I am NOT sticking up for Good Sam, but I wouldn't judge the entire company based upon ONE agent.

For example, you can call Direct TV twice in a row and get two different answers to the same question. Jut keep calling until you get the answer you want.
