Tax on GS Membership
Can anyone tell me why there is tax on a Good Sam Membership? Thank you. Betsy.

Amazon was incorporated in Washington state.....until 1996, re-registered in Delaware.
As previously posted, if your state of residence requires sales tax be collected for purchases of goods/services online, tax is charged. Florida law was changed a few years back, but in cleverfashion. If an online retailer has a brick and mortar presence in Florida, they must collect Florida sales tax on orders shipped to Florida addresses; can't swing a dead cat without hitting an Amazon facility in Florida. Ditto for Lowe's, Home Depot and on & on.....
