Thanks for nothing

Good Sam does not cover tire damage unless it can be proven without a doubt that the tire was defective. In our case, it was age. I didn't expect GS to cover it but my insurance came through with flying colors and my GS Roadside assistance did too. We called it in, GS called us back to let us know someone was on their way and that if they were not there within 45 minutes, to call them back. The serviceman showed up within the 45 minutes and while he was putting the spare on for us, and making it so we could drive down the rode, GS called back to check. We've been in the middle of no where, knowing our spare was bad and I called GS. They located several tire shops in the next town, called back with addresses and times so that we could easily find them and get our spare fixed. No problems so far for us. So sorry to hear when others do.

Whatever happens with these follow ups,does good sam finally cover the bill? Sorry to hear might be changing service before im one of these casualties.

Sorry to hear of your ordeal. Last July, we had a 4 year old tire separate and cause damage to our Bighorn. We had GS Platinum and within an hour and half, support arrived, changed our tire, unwrapped some of the shredded tire from the axle and we headed back to town for 5 new tires, home to unload, then straight to our dealer to leave the unit for repair. I know this isn't about insurance providers other than GS RS Assistance, but our Allstate came through, quickly and payed for all repairs less our deductible. Even paid for one of the tires that was damaged as a result.

Oh and for those who want to know for their tire conspiracies, they are ST235/85/16 LRE Towmax tires. Needless to say roadside is bringing me 4 LRG Goodyears for our 8 month old Heartland Bighorn 3610RE.
