Good Sam cannot dictate what private parties charge. This is a free enterprise system so it is not theft. The OP should have asked what it was going to cost BEFORE allowing the PRIVATE company to overcharge. It is something we do everyday. Check the price before we buy. Also GSRA policy is to not discuss the outcome on this site. How would you like it if they told you, you were wrong on this forum
I totally disagree. They were charged almost $1200 for a tire and road service that should have been about $300 to $400 dollars. Good Sam keeping a company in their network that exploits Good Sam's own customers makes Good Sam complicit. You are right, Good Sam has no control what their providers charge, but they do have control over who is in their network. When Good Sam makes a bad situation good, they shoukd tell us.
