Travel Assist Question...
Does anyone have this coverage, and is it worth it? Traveling to AK in about 3 weeks and was thinking of purchasing it. Anyone think of a reason not to?

Good Sam TravelAssist is a fantastic program that can be of great benefit to you while traveling. just me is correct in stating that it doesn't matter how your traveling (in your RV or you are touring Europe).
Our benefits include:
•Emergency Medical Evacuation: This is if you are hospitalized away from home and need to be transported to a facility that can better help you, as the current hospital is not staffed or equipped to handle your needs.
•Emergency Medical Monitoring: Once you have been hospitalized, one of our Care Agents will continually monitor your case, with your permission of course, and ensure that you are getting the treatment you require. Our on staff Doctors will be in contact with the doctors on site to help ensure this.
•Prescription Replacement: We will help facilitate the replacement of perscription should something happen on the road. We will also help with the delivery of any Emergency Medication, Blood and Vaccine Transfers shold you require them at your location.
••Travel Assistance:
•Round-Trip Economy Class Ticket: If you're in the hospital for more than 7 days and are traveling alone, Good Sam TravelAssist will pay for one round-trip economy class ticket for anyone you choose to come to your bedside.
•Dependent Children: If you suffer a travel emergency and have dependent children or grandchildren traveling with you who are left unattended due to your emergency, we'll make sure your children or grandchildren will be taken home. We will also help make arrangements for pets.
•Traveling Companion: If you are evacuated or pass away during your travel emergency, Good Sam TravelAssist will ensure the safe return of your traveling companion, as well as your remains.
•Vehicle Return: If illness or injury stops you from driving your RV or other vehicle and your traveling companion cannot drive it, Good Sam TravelAssist will drive it home for you.
•Lost Items Assistance: If your luggage, passport or visas go astray, Good Sam TravelAssist will help track them down. If they can't be recovered, we'll help get replacements.
•Language Interpretation: Within 3 minutes we can have an interperter on the phone.
•Pre-Trip Assistance: Good Sam TravelAssist will get you the latest details on consular services, inoculations, visas and travel advisories.
•Security Intelligence: This is vital if you feel threatened by political or social unrest, bad weather or any environmental concerns.
These are just to name a few. Bottom line, should you need emergency medical assistance, we at Good Sam TravelAssist make sure you get proper medical care, ensure all pets and children are looked after and we'll even arrange transportation for a loved one to be by your bedside.
