Travel Assist Question...
Does anyone have this coverage, and is it worth it? Traveling to AK in about 3 weeks and was thinking of purchasing it. Anyone think of a reason not to?

Is that true, as Betty says, that you have to "call 911 and be in the hospital for seven days to get any benefits"?

"Vehicle Return: If illness or injury stops you from driving your RV or other vehicle and your traveling companion cannot drive it, Good Sam TravelAssist will drive it home for you. "
My question is would a broken leg set in the emergency room and not requiring hospitalization but preventing the lone driver from driving the rv qualify for the vehicle return?
2. Regarding "•Emergency Medical Evacuation: This is if you are hospitalized away from home and need to be transported to a facility that can better help you, as the current hospital is not staffed or equipped to handle your needs. "
Would that cover a situation where your needed medical care cannot be provided by the local hospital, say you are critically injured and need medical air transport to a trauma center or burn center?
