Hello Tree House,
Thank you for your questions.
Allow me to provide some clarification to you.
We of course ask you to call 911 first as usually you are in the process of an emergency, we then of course want to be your second call after you have been treated or are in a position to call us. Please keep in mind that TravelAssist is not a reimbursement service, if we are not contacted as soon as you possibly can then we can't provide much help. We always recommend, keeping your TravelAssist card with your Insurance Card so in the event of you being disabled and unable to call us, most hospitals know to also contact us as well.
If on day one of hospitalization the Doctor says you will be there for at least 7 days then the benefits will become available to you. We won't make you wait for them. Even if after 4 days you are medically released we look at what was said at the start of your hospitalization.
In regards to your question about a broken leg, yes under circumstances where you are not hospitalized but inured to where you are not capable of driving your Rig then RV Return Service is also available to you.
To answer your question about the Emergency Medical Evacuation you are correct if the Hospital you have been taken is not equipped to deal with your injuries or medical situation then TravelAssist will make all the arrangements to get you to a medical facility that can.
