Trouble getting a refund

We traded in our Rv for a new one at camping world in deforest wi about 2 1/2 weeks ago. We had a good Sam service plan on our old rv but feel we are getting the run around from camping world and good Sam. We don't have a copy of our contract, which camping world says that we need, When we call good Sam, they say we don't need it but the dealer has to notify them. We have 3 years left on the plan so it is a substantial amount of money. We are very frustrated about the lack of assistance. We would appreciate your help getting this problem resolved. Thanks.

  • John from Good Sam helped us out by contacting camping world. It still took a bit of doing but luckily CW finally called us back today. Thanks, John, you're the greatest! We appreciated being kept informed along the way especially since it took some time to resolve. We look forward to receiving our refund in a month.
  • You don't HAVE to go to CW for repairs. Any authorized service center will do. So having a hard copy of the contract will be appreciated by all.
  • Why would you need to provide a copy of the contract? Does Camping World not keep a copy? What is the reasoning for putting customers through such difficulties? Other than trying to hold on to their money, I mean...

  • I'm not happy to hear this. I think I have my contract, but I've got to find it.

    I'm trading in my current coach for a new one on Saturday. I guess I'll get the run around from them too.
