Trouble getting service

Here we are still waiting. It’s now been 3 weeks since we went to CW in Mesa. We are still sitting here and nothing is getting done. We told CW we were in a hurry to head north. Friday CW told us a part they needed would be 10 days! Why wasn’t this ordered a couple weeks ago?? I went online Friday and found the part that said 2 or 3 day delivery. We are fed up and may just head north tomorrow and get our stuff fixed elsewhere. Probably anywhere other than a CW.

OP here. Last Wednesday we were told they were finally working on our parts. Now on Monday we still haven’t heard back. Guess we should have stayed there plugged into their electric. Maybe then there would be a little more rush. If nothing happens soon we might have to cancel completely and get it fixed in the fall.

Just so you know the RV plants and manufacturers are not at full strength. If a dealership can't get responses on parts, what are they to do. Its always blame the dealer. Also I have never had anything but exemplary service and respect from the many Camping World stores I have been in. I look at it this way, if you are on the road away from the dealer you bought your RV from and run into trouble, if there was not a Camping World close you are screwed. Good luck getting getting any other dealer to even give a hoot.

Just to clarify. We were at CW 2 days for them to check things out. Thursday am we left to come back to our RV lot. It was not til the following Wednesday when they called us and were finally figuring out what replacement parts were needed. Hopefully by today they will call ins co, which will be one week after we left. I’m just glad they seem to be working on it to get things going.

Day 1 Completing the inspection to find out what needs to be repaired.
Day 2 Receive authorization to complete repairs, order parts
Day 3-4 Wait for parts
Day 5 Parts arrive and your RV gets in line to have work completed

These seem to be pretty conservative numbers. That does not sound all that bad to me.

Thanks. We called the phone number for the CEOs office and later today we did finally get a call back from the CW and they are evidently working on it now

Is any RVer not in a hurry to have their unit repaired?
