I guess deleting an e-mail you don't want to read is not enough for some folks.
Ignoring the snide comment - as it adds no value - yes it can be problematic for some people. It's not a matter of deleting it, it's that I never signed up for them in the first place. I unsubscribe to each one and still get them. Most people pay for data usage. And SPAM emails add to your data consumption. So unsolicited emails chew up data. Granted it's not a lot but multiple companies doing this can start to add up. In a nutshell, you pay for them to send you emails you don't want. Frankly it should be illegal. - Good_Sam_Care_TExplorerHello D.E.Bishop,
Thank you for contacting Good Sam and sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that Camping World was able to assist you on your road trip.
Please let us know if we can be of assistance in the future.
Thank you,
Ella
Good Sam Care Team - D_E_BishopExplorerI too have a delete key and have quit using it, I click on the "JUNK" key and never see an email from that site again.
I joined this forum before Marcus owned GS and this site, I did not give my address to anyone for the purpose of clogging up my email account. In fact I don't think I have ever received an email from either of them.
I thought back when, that CW was a great place and I still do. I don't shop there a lot but I am a GS member and do read their ads, my DW looks much closer and buys more from them.
We spend about three months each year on the road or at least in the MoHo at campgrounds, and when I need an oil change, it is a really tough to find places that will take the Winnie. Our last trip all the way up to the Olympic Penn., We tried from Waldport Or to Kala Loch and didn't find a place that would do the oil change. In Kala Loch the DW called CW in Woodinville and they gave us an appointment and a overnight parking spot so we could be third in line. They already had two appointments. Not only did they get us in and out quickly, almost every employee walking past the waiting room offered to get us coffee from the garage coffee pot because the office staff wasn't in yet and they had no coffee in the waiting room.
The slicked hair, high pressure salesmen were all missing and a few work campers were circulating the showroom when we left. Those folks know what we are facing living for months in an RV and are better able to sell me stuff than some used car or insurance salesman.
The Valencia CA store is still a little high pressure but much better than they were. Most of the ding dongs are gone and the remaining folks are becoming very helpful.
I think it would be worth the occasional email and don't begrudge them that. - egh33ExplorerI have a Delete key on the this computer. Works with one finger. Problem solved.

- Good_Sam_Care_TExplorerHello way2roll,
Thank you for contacting Good Sam, I apologize for the unsolicited emails you are receiving. Please allow me to look into this further. Please provide your email address in a private message.
Thank you,
Ella
Good Sam Care Team - LwiddisExplorer IIWhen you signed up for the forum you gave GS/CW your email. This "free" forum is largely to promote GS/CW's businesses. Their emails are not offensive to me. I don't believe you can "opt out."
