Where Are Encore Parks?

What happened to all the Encore Parks that were available under Coast to Coast membership? We just renewed our membership and bought $1,000 points because we knew we would be using them in the areas we had been using them for many years now and they are ALL gone.

  • Not referring to the GNP parks, these have always been there but Encore had MANY parks where we could use our points, not the higher prices like the GNP, but for a reasonable amount of points...1,500. They were there just a short time ago and then when we began to make reservations they all disappeared.

Just wondering how many more will be disappearing or having the GNP pricing which is not ANY lower than somebody walking off the streets and getting a site at those locations. By using our Passport America, the rates are cheaper than what they want to charge us on the Coast to Coast membership so we usually use our PA instead of C2C for those.
  • Here is the directory of Coast to Coast Parks.

As stated above, most of them appear to be Good Neighbor Parks.

Since Equity Lifestyle took over TT, most of the parks are now affiliated with ELS Properties, TT, and are also available through Passport America.

I would make a call to Coast to Coast, as they should have given you a directory when you renewed. Or, call your home park for the same directory.
  • I think you must be talking about their "Good Neighbor" parks which are available for a higher fee than the regular membership parks. These parks are still a part of the system I believe.

"Encore" parks are, as far as I know, a group of parks that are run by a company other than Good Sam and are mostly "over 50" type parks with many park models and activities for snow birds. I don't think they have ever been a part of the Coast to Coast network of parks but could be wrong on that. Perhaps a few individual parks were.

Edit: It looks like the Encore parks are a part of the Thousand Trails membership camping network and not the Coast to Coast network.
