- dennislanierExplorerDon't you just love the lack of uniformity on this stuff even from the SAME MANUFACTURER. It is amazing. I guess the units built on Tuesday have it located under the bed, on Wednesday in the closet, if it was cloudy outside they put it in a cabinet etc etc. To make it even worse, the owner's manual doesn't tell you anything either. All generic stuff that is mostly useless if you are looking for specific information for your particular RV. If not for these forums, nobody would have a clue how to check on these things. Jayco has a pretty good reputation I suppose, but it seems all the manufacturers have more secrets than the CIA.
- LI-CamperExplorerIn my 2004 Greyhawk 27DS the converter is at the bottom of the wardrobe drawers opposite the bed. I guess there is no standard location even for Jayco.
- OldRadiosExplorerPlug it in. Turn all the lights on and follow the noise of the converter's fan.
- PaulJ2ExplorerA panel under the bedroom closet, drivers side. A friends Grayhawk.
- mgirardoExplorerIn our 2009 Greyhawk 31 FS, the converter, inverter and breaker panel are under the refrigerator.
-Michael - GrumpyandGrandmExplorerIt will be inside the coach someplace and right next to, or awfully close to, the 12 volt fuses. Are there any false bottoms in a wardrobe next to the bed? They may even have a finger hole drilled in it.
- RageousExplorerThanks for all the responses, in our Greyhawk the bed is almost centered and the breaker box is on the left side of the bed as facing the bed from the front. the Inverter is next to the breaker box but there is no other box under the bed. I will have to look under the coach where the shore power comes in and see if there is a box there.
thanks again for all the reply's - GrumpyandGrandmExplorerAs your looking at the bed it will be on the right you have to remove the wood box that runs the length of the bed. It will be adjacent to the curcuit breaker and fuse panel.
- Dusty_RExplorerLook to where the end of shore power core attaches to your mh. The panel will be right above it.
- j-dExplorer IIIn our non-slide Jayco Escapade, it's under the queen bed along one edge. With the bed lifted, you'll see one side is just an edge and the other is boxed. taking the box off reveals the Converter and Auto Transfer Switch along with the back side of the AC Breaker Panel.
Same idea as db2 described.
