- noleakmanExplorerI have a Onan and if I push real real hard on the bottom of the switch it will work and shut off but was never like that before !!
- John_WayneExplorer IIBefore you buy a new switch go back to the generator and pull off the spade connectors and put them back on. Some times it's just a bad connection.
- Have you tried using the Stop/Start switch AT the Genset to turn it OFF? If so, and THAT switch will not turn it off , the inside switch is not your problem. Also, you can disconnect the remote switch AT the genset. There should be a plastic wire harness quick connect that feeds the inside switch. Do you have a Onan or Kohler or Generac Genset? Doug
