It’s got to be a combination of supply and demand along with local labor costs, plus an adjustment for the taxes in whatever state your looking at the fuel prices in.
I bought Diesel in Denver yesterday for $2.31, regular unleaded was $2.69 at the same station and premium was $2.99. Last summer diesel fuel at the same place diesel was barley over two dollars.
