10' x 10' Canopy : Round Stakes or Weighted Bags to secure?

I have a 10x10 that we have used camping and many times at grandson's summer baseball games. Even in hgh winds I typically only use the provided wire "stakes" and the guy ropes on the corners. I do have a set of the slotted weights made specifically for canopies that go around the bottom of the posts that I sometimes use on the windward side.
